2008 Quilt Show and Artist Reception

Olde Mill Gallery hosted its second annual Anson Quilter’s Show and Artist Reception on Thursday evening, November 20, 2008. The wine and cheese gala attracted about 100 guests who enjoyed a diverse range of hand-pieced quilts with a few that were antique heirlooms from the quilters’ families. The quilt patterns ranged from old, well known to contemporary designs. A few of the pieces were appliquéd.

In addition to the quilts, the guests had the opportunity to meet many of the 49 artists who exhibit in the gallery, enjoy their artwork and see three of the artists – Edna Barker, June Rollins and Barry Stebbing – demonstrate in their medium of oils and/or watercolor.
